What is going on?
In the last edition of the Monterey County Weekly, the staff writer Kera Abrahams and the Monterey County Weekly continued their campaign against RSE, Inc, and the CEO of the company, Dieter Albrecht.

The truth twisting style of journalism appears as the trademark of this staff writer and we can't tolerate it anymore. Here is what they published, and here is the truth:
"Former board president Dietrich Albrecht took over the chamber’s former web domain last year, Price says, when the board – which had not authorized the work – refused to pay him for creating the chamber’s site. Now, www.seaside-sandcity.com advertises for Albrecht’s tech company, Reliable Systems Enterprises Inc. Albrecht declined to comment."
Fact is, that Reliable System Enterprises, Inc. developed a new, cutting edge technology Website for the Seaside Sand City Chamber of Commerce long before RSE’s CEO Dieter Albrecht even got elected to the Chamber board.

The former Administrative Director Jacqueline Lambert presented the proposal to the Chamber’s board and it was approved unanimously by the Chamber’s board. This Website development was completely free of charge. The Chamber agreed to pay only the hosting fees to RSE, Inc. Other than that, the use of the web site and the technology, as well as the online marketing for the Chamber’s website, was provided for free by RSE, Inc.

RSE’s technology provided for each Chamber of Commerce Member free of charge:

• Email address and email account
• Online business card – up to ten (10)pages, including unlimited pictures
• Member instant messaging
• Member instant advertisement,
• Deal of the week member to member
• Free email campaigns (twice a month)
• Shopping cart

all was included for free.

The Chamber had a secured back office area which enabled him to streamline his business and use modern technology at most.

Several different Chamber boards approved additions to this website as for instance a virtual visitor’s bureau. This website was presented and introduced to the Seaside City Council by Jacqueline Lambert.

After the Chamber of Commerce didn’t pay his webhosting fees for more than a year, didn’t respond to letters, reminders and calls, RSE, Inc. shut down the Chamber’s website.

There is no link or redirection. If a website doesn’t exist anymore, RSE’s web servers default the request to RSEs main website www.myrse.com. Standard in the industry is a maximum of 4 weeks before shut down if payment for hosting service is not received.

Mister Patrick Oroscos statement, that he settled all the Chamber’s debts, is also wrong. Currently the Chamber of Commerce still owes RSE, Inc. reimbursement for storage facility and other fees that RSE paid for the Chamber as well as hosting fees. Trial is scheduled for 09/28/09 at 8:30am.
